Dear Third District Resident,
As Riverside County Third District Supervisor, I want to assure you that the County of Riverside is doing all in its power to keep its residents safe and well-informed on the COVID-19 crisis.
The facts and mandates surrounding COVID-19 change every day, but if there is one thing that is certain, it is that this situation has left people searching for accurate information and resources. Updated information about COVID-19 in Riverside County is available at www.rivcoph.org/coronavirus. For state updates, visit www.cdph.ca.gov, and for national updates, visit www.cdc.gov. Below is a selection of resources that you may find helpful at this time.

Economic Resources for Small Businesses
  1. US Small Business Administration Disaster Loans can now be accessed here: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/information/ApplyOnline
  2. The Riverside County Economic Development Department has compiled a list of resources:https://rivcoccsd.org/covidbizhelp

Economic Resources for Employees

Economic Resources for the Public
  1. Food Banks / Food Resources
    1. Local public schools will be providing free breakfast and lunch services to children under 18. Please call your local public school / school district for details.
    2. The following websites provide information on how to find free food in the Temecula, Murrieta, Winchester, Homeland, San Jacinto and Hemet areas:

    3. Visit the Idyllwild Help Center (26330 CA-243, Idyllwild-Pine Cove) for food assistance from Tues. – Thurs., 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. by appointment only.
    4. Visit Anza Community Hall (56630 CA-371, Anza) for food distribution every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    5. Visit Anza Electric Cooperative (58470 CA-371, Anza) for food distribution every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    6. The Family Service Association (951-342-3057) will distribute a weekly meal package on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the San Jacinto Senior Center (625 S Pico Ave, San Jacinto),
      1. Meal packages will be distributed between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Must be 60+ to receive a meal; limited to one package per customer, per week.
    7. The Community Action Partnership of Riverside County can provides one-time utility payment assistance for low and moderate-income individuals and families: https://www.capriverside.org/program/utilityassistanceprogram.​
